Keryn was designed so a coding agent can do the preparation while a person keeps the decision. The digest rule means an agent cannot apply anything that was not approved.

Comanda keryn skill afișează un ghid text, scris pentru agenți: ordinea comenzilor, ce înseamnă fiecare ieșire și ce nu are voie să facă agentul. Ghidul este text simplu și poate fi citit de orice agent care rulează comenzi în terminal.

The keryn skill command prints a plain-text guide written for agents: the order of commands, what each output means and what the agent must not do. The guide is plain text and can be read by any agent that runs terminal commands.

Fluxul recomandatRecommended flow

1. Agentul editează keryn.yaml și rulează validate până când fișierul este valid.
2. Agentul rulează preflight și plan-apply (sau plan-bootstrap) și prezintă omului planul și amprenta.
3. Omul citește planul și aprobă amprenta exactă.
4. Agentul rulează apply --approve <amprentă> și raportează rezultatul.

2. The agent runs preflight and plan-apply (or plan-bootstrap) and shows the person the plan and the digest.
3. The person reads the plan and approves the exact digest.
4. The agent runs apply --approve <digest> and reports the result.

The --json option produces structured output, so the agent does not have to parse free text.
